VINCE NEIL HEADED FOR ‘CELEBRITY APPRENTICE?’

(Ultimate Classic Rock) – Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil is reportedly going to appear on the next season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ NBC’s Donald Trump-fronted reality competition.

If this happens — and the Las Vegas Review-Journal says Neil is telling his friends that it is — the singer will hardly be breaking new ground. Poison frontman Bret Michaels, Meat Loaf and Twisted Sister star Dee Snider have all competed on the show before.

Snider was somehow able to both retain his dignity and raise more than $300,000 for the March of Dimesduring his 2012 appearance. The first part of that is a bit more than we can say for Mr. Loaf, who had an epic meltdown over some allegedly stolen art supplies during his stint on the program.

Neil is hardly a stranger to reality television, having previously appeared on ‘The Surreal Life,’ ‘Skating With the Stars’ and ‘Remaking Vince Neil.’ Speculation continues to swirl about Motley Crue’s upcoming plans for retirement. Most recently, drummer Tommy Lee said the band hopes to complete one more tour before guitarist Mick Mars’ health problems force them to call it a day.
